Selected projects from my IT Systems Management and Security program, focused on secure administration, infrastructure, and practical deployment.
Will be working on publishing more projects on this page.
AD2GO is a secure web application that allows authorized users to manage their company’s Active Directory (AD) directly from their phones.
Instead of being tied to a workstation, administrators can perform tasks such as creating user accounts, viewing inventory, and resetting passwords from any iOS or Android device.
AD2GO uses Python and FastAPI for the backend, which connects to the target Active Directory through secure LDAP (LDAPS).
To protect remote access, the application is published through a Cloudflare Tunnel over HTTPS and uses JWT-based authentication.
The frontend is a Progressive Web App (PWA), AD2GO.ca, built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in Visual Studio Code.
Working in a team of three, we built a secure cloud storage solution with Nextcloud for file sharing and collaboration.
The project included provisioning a Raspberry Pi 4 and configuring user management and access controls to deliver a practical self-hosted platform with strong privacy controls.
Fort Faux was a capstone project delivered by a four-person IT Systems Management and Security team at NSCC Truro.
We designed and documented a mid-complexity network for a simulated educational center, deploying Windows Server 2025, Security Onion, Wazuh, and Windows 11 clients while building red-team versus blue-team scenarios for security testing.
The project strengthened my practical skills in infrastructure planning, documentation, and defensive security operations.
This portfolio highlights projects and skills developed throughout my IT Systems Management and Security program.
Built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, it is designed for accessibility, responsive viewing across devices, and clear navigation for employers and collaborators.
